The purpose of this website is to serve as a venue for sharing thoughts, ideas and tips to help others create more wealth and live better lives. My favorite topics to write about are wealth creation, real estate investing and online business, but I occasionally post other items I’d like to share which relate to fitness, nutrition or life in general.

About Me

Past

Born and raised in the Toronto area, I enjoyed a fun filled childhood as I was raised by my wonderful family. From an early age, I’ve had a keen interest for business, technology and  sports. These same interests are still alive and well today.

In my final year of secondary school, my decision on where to go from there was simple. Following my passion for business, I earned an Honours BBA (Bachelors of Business Administration) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University’s School of Business and Economics. This comprehensive undergraduate program covered all of the functional areas of business and allowed me to gain a solid understanding of accounting, economics, finance, human resources, marketing, operations, and strategy.

Entrepreneurship has always been of interest to me, even before I was familiar with the term. Beginning in a grassroots manner by setting up lemonade stands, organizing garage sales, cutting lawns, and painting to make a few extra dollars as a kid, I’ve been actively involved with several entrepreneurial ventures. As a teenager, I delivered newspapers, began a small web design and development company and later started a business retailing after-market automotive parts. More recently I have been involved in residential mortgage lending, launched various websites, and founded a real estate investment company.

During my college years, I began a journey of personal development. Wanting to make the most of my talents and abilities, and create a great life for myself and my family, I began reading frequently. Following several book recommendations of a very successful mentor, I have learned a great deal on the philosophy of success, but most importantly what is possible for myself and my life.

Present

Currently I live in downtown Toronto and apply my skills working as a financial analyst. During the evenings and on weekends, I spend time working on various projects including my real estate investment company and an online rental listing site.

My top strengths are that I am analytical, future-focused and a strategic thinker. I have found both finance and real estate to be suitable outlets for these talents, and am working to develop experience in both areas by applying my abilities to create the most value I can.

I completed my first marathon in 2008 and have since been staying in shape and having fun by playing squash and beach volleyball. Between working a full time job, managing my businesses and playing sports, I’ve been keeping quite busy since graduation.

Future

Having opened my mind to the endless possibilities that are all around me, I have a very strong outlook for the future and plenty of ambitions to match. Goals for 2010 keep me focused on what is important to me, and include items in the areas of career, fitness, and investment, while long-term goals keep me moving in the right direction overall. One of my most important goals in both the short-term and long-term is to create wealth for myself and others through smart real estate investments.

My vision, put simply, is to live life powerfully and live a life I love. To me, this means living with the courage to follow my passions, and the integrity to honour my word as myself.
