A month later I’ve finished another of my CFA books and started on the 4th of 5. My study patterns are a little irregular, but the important part is that its getting done.
Marathon training is still going well, I am on week 12 of 18 of my training program leading up to the Toronto Marathon in October and haven’t missed a workout yet. I am up to 16mi (about 25km) and am confident I’ll be able to run another 10mi on top of that in 6 weeks time. I’ve began to enjoy ice baths following my runs of 10+ mi, and actually look forward to them now that I am getting used to them. They really seem to help with recovery after a long run.
Lately I’ve been making a concious effort to do things with more focus, and trying to get things done as efficiently as possible. I have yet to get into a groove with my studying so my business pursuits remain on the backburner. That will change soon as I become more effective at getting through my study sessions.
